Brand Ambassador
I have been a brand ambassador for The Homemade Brownie Company for around nine months now and have sampled a lot of brownies over that time. One thing that still surprises me is just how tasty they are considering they are all 100% gluten free, suitable for coeliacs, like my sister. I have had other gluten free treats in the past and found them fairly dry and lacking something. This is not the case with these brownies and blondies, which are melt in your mouth moist, and utterly moreish.
The Homemade Brownie Company is based in Basingstoke, Hampshire and is the baby of Laura and Adam. Laura set up the company after her bakes became popular amongst friends and family. Suffering from gluten intolerance herself, Laura was determined to create a product which was every bit as good as the gluten counterpart, and she has more than succeeded! They also offer four vegan brownie flavours, which are dairy free.
The business has gone from strength to strength over the past few years and is gaining more and more popularity, largely in part to the tireless branding and promotion of the founders, who regularly visit local trade shows to get the word out. You don’t have to do any leg work if you want to try them for yourselves, though. You can purchase the whole range online, at the touch of a button, and I would recommend you do so (get 15% off with code HMB-14EE).
I have tried most of the flavours by this point, and I would struggle to find a favourite, as they are all delicious, but if I had to choose I would probably go with the Nutella Blondie, so blooming tasty! I love that the brand offer a flavour of the month, which keeps things interesting, even for those of us who regularly eat brownies. This month’s special was Cherry Bakewell Blondie.

I was sent the 22 piece stack, which is perfect for parties, as a fun alternative to a traditional birthday cake, and is the perfect size to share with friends and family. I love sharing my brownies with everybody, as it is lovely to have some positive feedback from those who haven’t tried the brand before. They say seeing is believing, but in this case it is in the tasting.

I love that the brownies can be delivered across the country, making them a fantastic gift idea for those who are separated by the miles. It makes a great present for birthdays and other special occasions, or just because, to show somebody you care and are thinking of them.

As well as the stacks, you can buy trays, slabs, gift boxes and broken brownies (a box of broken brownies made up from the left-over brownies from full tray bakes and off-cuts), which is such a great idea, saves you some money and reduces food waste!
Want to make your gift extra special? You can add alcohol and coffee to your order, to suit your recipient’s tastes. Fancy regular brownies through the post? You can sign up for a subscription box, which means you will always have something to look forward to each month.

If you are looking for a tasty treat for yourself, as a gift or for a special occasion, I would recommend checking out The Homemade Brownie Company, a brilliant British brand, with a strong work ethic and a great approach to business.
