As you will know by now, Ed and I bought our first home together last year, and moved in a few days before Christmas. The house is in need of a total refresh, and we will be slowly renovating all of the rooms, when we have the time and money to do so. We have made a start on the boys’ bedroom this past week, and are hoping to finish it in the next fortnight but, in the meantime, I have been working with Desenio to pick out some prints to freshen some of the rooms up and bring a touch of our personality to the place.

First up was the bathroom, which is likely to be the very last room we renovate, as it is perfectly fine as it is for the time being. Although we like the room and the way it is laid out, I did want to give it my own stamp, and brighten things up a little and these two prints go really well together, on the window ledge, alongside our his and her bath bits. I love the quote, and the pale pink colouring looks lovely against the white of the bathroom, and the black and white smaller print.

Moving onto our bedroom, Ed is a big fan of Freddie Mercury and Queen, and I knew he would love to add this print to our collection (I have already put up a few Desenio prints from previous collaborations in our room, which we both love). I wasn’t sure of the sizing for this one, but I am happy with how it looks on the wall.

We had a WiFi code print from Desenio in our old house, so I knew I wanted to get another for the lounge – it is so handy to have for when people come to visit (hopefully it won’t be much longer until it is safe for people to do so again). This size of print is perfect, without being too over the top. I have a few prints this size and I often use them as props for blog photography too.

Last, but definitely not least, these gaming prints are what inspired my theme for the boys’ bedroom renovation. I cannot wait to put them up on the newly painted walls, above their new gaming desk area. Cameron, who is ten and very into Xbox and his Nintendo Switch at the moment, is so excited for his new room, and I will be sharing the finished look once everything is sorted in there.

I have loved working with Desenio to bring some personality to our new house, and I can’t wait to see how the prints will look in the finished rooms, as we continue with our renovations. I highly recommend Desenio, if you are looking to add some prints to your home. They have such a wide range to choose from, and you can even see how different prints will look together on a gallery wall, via the handy tool on their website. I always choose to add Desenio’s frames to my order – they have a selection of colours available including black, white and a pretty rose gold shade.

This is a sponsored post, however all words and images are my own.
