I never used to be a big fan of waffles in the past, always choosing pancakes over them. Last year, I had them with maple syrup and bacon and they were a total game changer for me when it came to eating breakfast out. I haven’t ever made them myself before, but when I was asked if I would like to try out the Dual Round Waffle Maker from VonShef, I figured it would be a chance to perfect a new recipe, and have something a little special to serve up for us and the kids at the weekend.

The dual round waffle maker is really simple to use, simply give it a quick wash and dry, plug it in and you are good to go. VonShef have a variety of different waffle makers to choose from, including the dual Belgian and non-stick designs, but personally I love the look of round waffles, and these can even be cut into segments – perfect if you are feeding little ones with small appetites.

This is what we used to make quick, easy and tasty waffles in minutes with the Vonshef dual round waffle maker.

Ingredients:
250g Plain Flour
7g baking powder
25g caster sugar
2 x medium eggs
475ml milk
25ml oil
Directions:
Pre-heat waffle maker and spray with oil
Mix the dry ingredients together in a big bowl
Crack the eggs into a second bowl and add in the milk, beat together
Add the eggs and milk into the bigger bowl, add in the oil and whisk the ingredients together until smooth
Pour a small amount of the mixture onto the waffle maker plates, until covered, but not overly full

Cook for around 3 minutes, until golden brown in colour

Serve with your choice of topping (we went for chocolate spread and berries)

Enjoy!
I was sent the dual round waffle maker from Vonshef, however all words and images are my own.
