Can you believe it’s July already? A year ago I started working on the preopening of a big local hotel. It’s crazy how fast time has gone since, and how much has changed! The baby is going to be here in a few months time and before you know it, it’ll be Christmas… Before I go wishing the whole year alway, here are my monthly plans for July…

3rd July – Celebrating a birthday
One of my friends has invited me to celebrate her birthday with her. I’m looking forward to getting out of the house and I’m crossing my fingers that this bloody rain we’ve had constantly for what seems like forever decides to go away for it…
5th July – Makeup event
One of my favourite local beauty salons is hosting a makeup event and I’m going along to have a consultation. I’m hoping that they’ll be able to give me some tips and tricks as my makeup skills have definitely been going downhill lately. Must make more effort!
6th July – 25 week midwife appointment
7th July- Cut and finish
The wonderful SCISSORS Salons (soon to rebrand as Francescos) have invited me along to experience their cut and finish treatment at my local branch. I’m excited to be having some me time and hopefully coming out looking a little fresher, at least in the hair department
7th July – Meeting at Cameron’s School
Cameron will go into year 1 for a day to meet his new teacher and classmates. In the evening there’s a meeting to discuss the next school year for parents. Seems mental that Cameron is already almost in year one!
21st – 28th July- Holiday at Home
My mum very kindly is due to look after the children over summer. However, she is having a well earned break away first so I am having a few days off work with the kids after they break up from school/nursery. As we don’t have money, and Ed cannot take the time off, we aren’t planning on going anywhere, but are hoping for nice weather so we can spend some time at the beach and having picnics in the park. It will be nice to spend some time with the children and to have a bit of time away from the hectic office environment.
26th July – Growth Scan
I have one of the first of my growth scans to check up on baby salad towards the end of the month. I’m looking forward to it as the children are due to come along and they haven’t been to any of the scans yet so it’ll be their first time seeing their little baby brother on the screen.
31st July – Family Fun Day
Our local gym/leisure centre has a brilliant looking family fun day at the end of July and the kids have been begging to go ever since they saw a leaflet with a colourful map of the things on offer a few weeks ago. With free entry, it will be worth a visit.
