I have been a big fan of Temple Spa products, ever since visiting their product launch at the Bluewater Spa at a local hotel. I was sent across a few of the Temple Spa products in their My Kinda Skin Essentials set, and I have been trying them out over the past month, swapping them in for my usual skincare products to see how they compare. Something I love about the Temple Spa products is the scent, it takes you back to being in a spa, being pampered, letting go of all the stresses and strains of life. At the moment, whilst we are unable to visit spas themselves, and the stresses of the world are tenfold, products that can give you a little bit of luxury TLC during your skincare routine get a big thumbs up from me.

The products that I was sent include the Dual Act cleansing lotion, Toning Essence mist tonic and the Moisture to Go moisturiser. Now, I will be honest and say that I haven’t been using the cleansing lotion as much as the other two products, but I have religiously used the toner and moisturiser, in place of my usual nighttime skincare products and I am really impressed with them both.

As I say, they smell gorgeous, but they aren’t too overpowering, and both sink into the skin so quickly, without the need to hang around before my head hits the pillow. The light mist, which is alcohol-free, is perfect for giving that hit of refreshment, with minimal effort required, and the moisturiser feels so nice and soft on my skin.

I have combination skin, with patches that are really dry, and other areas that get quite oily, and I am also quite sensitive to certain ingredients, so finding skincare that works for me can be a tricky one. I was pleased to find that I didn’t have any issues with the products from Temple Spa, and my skin has been feeling a lot fresher, with only a couple of minor breakouts due to wearing my mask for the nursery and school pick ups, over the past week and a half. My skin looks brighter and more hydrated, and I haven’t felt the need to cover myself up with so much makeup, as I am more confident with how my bare face looks, which is new for me!
I am going to switch in the cleansing lotion in place of my usual foam cleanser, and see how it goes with that as well, now that I know my skin is fine with the product range. The dual wet and dry cleansing lotion promises to deal with an oily T-zone whilst cleansing dry areas of the face, leaving your face clean and smooth, without that horrible drying effect some cleansers give you.

I am really pleased with the My Kinda Skin Essentials set from Temple Spa, and would definitely recommend the products to anybody looking to change up their skincare, or as a beautiful indulgent gift for a loved one.
