It’s that time of year when people start to wind down and spend less time reading blogs and following social media accounts in favour of spending time with their loved ones. So, before you stop reading, ready for Christmas Day, I wanted to write a little something about how grateful I am for those of you who read my blog, and who support. It means a lot.

I started blogging almost 9 years ago now, which seems like a lifetime ago. So much has changed, and sometimes I feel ridiculous without a huge following, when lots of people who started when I did have managed to go on and land amazing deals. Life is not a competition, and I put a career in events and raising my three children before the blog, which certainly delayed things for me.

I may not have hundreds, or even tens of thousands of followers on here on on Instagram, but I am truly grateful for all those who do stop and read what I have to say. When I get a message from somebody saying that what I have written about has resonated with them, it is an amazing feeling. I love to write, and have done since a young age, and writing my blog gives me the freedom to put down in words what I am thinking about and allows me to keep a document of all the things I am doing in my life. It is the ultimate diary, and I love to be able to share with you my thoughts on different topics from beauty to local restaurants and events.

So, as my out of office stays firmly on, and I take some time away from both my office job and my blog this Christmas, I just wanted to say thank you, to you, my readers, whether you have been with me from the start, or whether you have recently started following, I love that you want to read what I have to say.

Happy Christmas!
