Dressing for Autumn Walks

•Features Gifted Item•

Suffering from Seasonal Affective Disorder, I try and get outdoors in the fresh air during daylight as much as possible in autumn and winter, when the days are shorter. Wrapping up warm and heading out into the countryside on a Sunday is our favourite family activity as the nights draw in and it gives me some of the vitamin D my body is lacking in during this season.

I’m a Celebrity starts back on Sunday and Go Outdoors have sent across a pair of the same boots that the celebrities will be wearing in the jungle this year. I have been meaning to get a proper pair of walking boots for awhile as wearing normal boots out in the countryside trampling through mud is never a good idea! The HITEC boots are not only practical, they are also comfortable and look good too.

Made with leather, the boots are also waterproof to keep feet dry even when walking through muddy puddles, and the rubber outsole gives the grip you need when walking up and down cliffs.

Living in Bournemouth, the Jurassic Coast is just a forty minute drive from us and we recently discovered the beauty of Langton Matravers and the Dancing Ledge. It is lovely to explore with the children and show them how picturesque Britain is.

Although England is a bit too cold for the outfits worn by the celebs in the jungle, I have been styling up my boots with my trusty skinny jeans and comfy knits from New Look. As the temperatures dip further, I will need to add a coat, but for now I am enjoying my go-to autumn style.

Will you be tuning in for I’m a Celebrity on 17th November?

The boots have been gifted, however all words and images are my own.
