With the recent heatwave, deciding what to wear as a wedding guest can be challenging. Knowing what to wear that will be appropriate but also keep you cool can be difficult. I was recently introduced to ANGELEYE clothing, which has a whole range of wedding guest outfits including midi and maxi dresses and a selection of jumpsuits.
A jumpsuit is the perfect outfit choice for a summer wedding as it is so easy to dress up or down depending on the formality of the occasion. It is also a brilliant transitional piece, that is versatile enough to take you from summer to autumn with ease.
This floral jumpsuit from ANGELEYE is my new favourite outfit as it looks totally stylish whilst being extremely comfortable.
Made with a light material, it floats over those body parts I am least confident about and keeps me cool even in the balmy summer weather we have been having recently. Plus it even has the holy grail of women’s clothing – pockets!
The important thing to remember when it comes to jumpsuits is to not be afraid to buy in a slightly bigger size. I usually wear a size 10 but opted for a size 12 and the jumpsuit is roomy without swamping me. Weddings can involve a lot of food and alcohol, and I tend to bloat, so comfort is key when choosing an outfit.
The floral pattern on the jumpsuit makes this an elegant option for a wedding this summer, but by adding a simple blazer you can take the outfit into the slightly chillier months that are coming up. I love how the jumpsuit looks with this dusky pink blazer, and it works just as well with heels as it does flats, depending on the wedding venue.
This jumpsuit ticks all the boxes for me, and I have already had so many compliments wearing it over the past few weeks to everything from family barbecues to theatre performances, proving just how versatile a piece it is.
If you are shopping for a new outfit, ANGELEYES has so many beautiful outfits suitable for weddings and other special occasions on their website. I have my eye on this stunning Burgundy dress, perfect for a winter wedding….
I was gifted the jumpsuit featured in this post, however all words and images are my own.
