Didn’t January feel like it would last forever? I must admit, I have a bit of a soft spot for February. Yes, it is still pretty cold and grey and gloomy, but the sun seems to be peeking through the clouds that little bit more and the mornings are that little bit brighter. Plus there’s Valentine’s Day and I have lots of family birthdays to celebrate as well.
I have been really trying to make an effort to take some time for myself lately, and today I wanted to share my current February Beauty Favourites.
This has fast become my go-to skincare treat at the end of a long day. You can either use it as a face mask, apply it and leave for 10-15 minutes before washing off or, if you fancy even more hydration, you can leave it on overnight. It is non-greasy, super soft and gentle on skin and it doesn’t have a strong smell like other leave-on masks I have tried in the past.
I previously had the Day Wear Matte version of this cream and absolutely loved it but couldnt really afford the £23 price tag to replace it. When Ed and I visited Bicester Village recently during our stay in the Cotswolds, I spotted this one for just £8, which was a total bargain and I had to have it. I still prefer the matte version and will definitely buy it again in future but this one is brilliant too and doesn’t aggravate my sensitive, irritated dry skin at all, leaving my face feeling fresh and hydrated.
Goldwell Color Serum Spray
The serum spray was included in the gift bag I received after my blow dry with the lovely team at Tony Hair. It smells incredible and I have been using it as a heat protector before styling my hair.
Goldwell Color Extra Rich Treatment Mask
This was also in my goody bag and provides hair with an extra hit of hydration. I have such dry hair at the moment and my split ends are awful as Benjamin pulls on my hair when he is tired and in need of comfort. This mask smells lovely and leaves my hair so soft and in noticeably better condition. Love!
This hand cream was included in my Valentine’s Day Gift Guide and I have been using it daily myself during the cold weather. I am the first to admit that I don’t take care of my hands. I try and schedule in regular pamper sessions but always forget about my hands. This hand cream has a lovely, subtle scent and feels so luxurious.
The Luna Mini 2 was also featured in my gift guide and has been a total game changer for me since I started using it. I hadnt previously tried a facial cleansing brush but I am a total convert. The brush is so gentle but provides a deep clean and my face feels so much better after using it.
I received this sheet mask in my gift box from a recent event with the Body Shop and I was so excited to try their very first sheet mask. I am a huge fan of sheet masks as they are less messy than other types and are so quick and easy to apply whilst catching up on the latest must-watch show on Netflix. I will definitely be stocking up on more when I next head into store.
Image Skincare Body Spa Travel Kit
I hadn’t heard of the Image Skincare brand before but figured I would give this travel kit a go after I was gifted it following a visit to the Sandbanks Clinic, where I was taking photos for them after their recent new venue launch. I absolutely love the firming body creme. I have been using it on my stomach as the skin is saggy from having three kids. I need to invest in the full-size product as it’s amazing! The set also includes a body cream, body bronzer and body scrub.
Some of the products featured have been gifted to myself as part of events and gift guides. However all words and images are my own.
