Getting Creative with Custom Cases from CaseApp

You’ll know by now that I love a good personalised product, and when it comes to my phone and laptop cases, I like being able to add a unique touch to make them stand out in the crowd. Let’s face it, Apple products are great but when so many people have them, it’s nice to have the option to make yours look a little different.

CaseApp offered to provide me with a case for my new iPhone 8 Plus, and a skin for my MacBook Pro, and I was more than happy to take them up on their offer, as I have heard so many positive things about their company. The site is really simple to use, and they have cases for a huge range of phones, laptops and tablets.

Their phone cases come in either a matte or glossy finish, and you can choose to create a collage of different images, or just pick one image to personalise your case. As well as this, you can add further details such as text or cliparts, making the design process really fun. The designs wrap around the case, meaning no odd looking edges, and the website shows you where your image will be split across the different surfaces. Images will also be flagged up during the design process if they are too low quality, to avoid any disappointment when your case is delivered.

I went for an image of the three children taken during our break to the Lake District recently, for my personalised iPhone case as I love it, and the colours are so nice and bright and bold. The case arrived and looks so beautiful, the image is high res, and wraps around the case perfectly. I have had a few compliments on it, and took it along with us on our cruise around Northern Europe.

I have previously ordered a case for my MacBook, but hadn’t got round to putting it on as I didn’t like the way they changed the look of the laptop. I hadn’t considered a skin until I went on the CaseApp website, and I was a little apprehensive about how it would look. I ended up choosing an image of myself, taken from my shoot with Kaye (Fordtography) for my personalised laptop skin, as I wanted something which would signify my blog brand.

When I received the skin and put it on the laptop I absolutely loved how it looked. The image is of a really high quality, and I love how much it personalises the MacBook without changing the shape and overall aesthetic of it. The skin went on really easily, and feels nice and smooth without any lumps or bumps. It also fit the MacBook Pro perfectly, and doesn’t look dirty or scuffed at all after around a month of use.

If you are looking for a new phone case, or a skin for your laptop, I would highly recommend CaseApp. Their products are made with high quality materials, look brilliant, and can be fully personalised to make your gadgets stand out. They would also make the perfect gift for birthdays, anniversaries or Christmas.

I was sent the phone case and laptop skin featured in this post, however all opinions and images are my own.
