Beauty – My Perfect Summer Nails

Sun, sea, sand and the perfect exotic cocktail. That’s what I’ve been dreaming about this week. It’s less than two weeks now until we fly out to Santorini and I cannot wait to get away from this poor excuse of a summer we’ve been having here in the UK.

Destination2, who offer tailor made luxury holidays, recently asked me to show them my ‘Perfect Summer Nails’. I love to paint my nails in a bright colour over the summer months. It makes me feel a little more optimistic, even when the sun goes behind the clouds (or disappears completely as it has been doing lately).
As I have quite short nails from nail biting in the past, I find that a nice pop of colour makes them look better (and also encourages me not to nibble on them). Being short, they only need a quick file to shape them before I paint them.

I love the Nails Inc gel effect polishes as they have been enriched with coconut water and come in such pretty shades. I’ve been wearing their Chelsea Grove on my hands and Charlotte Villas on my toes and they perfectly complimented the watermelon margarita I had on our date night last week!

I’m so excited to be leaving England soon to fly out to Santorini. If you feel like planning your next escape or just fancy lusting over pretty pictures, Destination2 have some totally stunning resorts to add to your travel bucket list.

This is a collaborative post with Destination2, however all words and photos are my own.

  1. That’s a great nail colour on you.
I’ve got no colour on mine in preparation for op next week, booked in a shellac manicure for 10/10 which seems ages away but it will come around quickly.
    As will your wedding!
