If, like me, you love something cold and delicious as soon as summer rolls around but you feel guilty eating all the ice cream, you’ll be pleased to know that popular overseas frozen yogurt franchise llaollao is opening their flagship store in Bournemouth tomorrow!
The company, which focuses on incorporating as many fresh and natural ingredients as possible into their frozen treats, are hugely popular in Europe and Asia and owners of the Bournemouth branch Andrew Littlefield and Mark White are extremely excited to be bringing the brand to the UK for the first time.
I met up with Mark today and had a chat about the company’s ethos and what it will bring to BH2 Leisure’s chain of cafes and restaurants.
llaollao frozen yogurt is gluten free and made with skimmed milk, making it the healthiest frozen yogurt on the market. Although llaollao is suitable for all ages, with its fun social vibe, I’m sure it will become a firm favourite with the millennial generation in particular.
Mark is clearly passionate about the brand and the excitement was catching. I can’t wait to sample the yummy tubs and I also have my eye on their signature Sanum – a frozen yogurt with 3 fruits, 2 crunches and 2 sauces – it sounds epic!
Prices are fairly reasonable with tubs starting at £3.80 (also available in a glass), and extra toppings available at just 50p each. If frozen yogurt isn’t your thing, never fear as llaollao also offer refreshing iced drinks in a variety of flavours (I’m going to be going for the watermelon) as well as smoothies, both of which also come in premium versions which have afrozen yogurt topping!
To celebrate tomorrow’s opening, llaollao are giving away free small tubs with one topping from 12pm tomorrow (Saturday 10th June) and vouchers for free toppings will also be available over the opening weekend.
