On Tuesday it was Ed’s birthday. As he had work, the children and I made him a birthday cake the night before and presented it to him in the morning along with his birthday presents and card.
I met Ed straight from work and we went to ‘our’ bar – Eden. I had the yummiest non-alcoholic mojito, something I have loved since I’ve been pregnant and Ed had a very exotic and apparently incredibly yummy cocktail. I love Eden as it provides very Instagram worthy photo opportunities!
After our drink we headed over to Rancho Steakhouse, where we had a 6pm reservation. As it was early, we had the whole place to ourselves for some of the meal, which meant very speedy service. The food was really yummy. I had cheesy garlic bread to start whilst Ed went for the ribs and for mains I had chicken fajitas and Ed went for the mixed grill- meat overload.
