I absolutely love living so close to the sea and, when the sun starts coming back out and spring arrives, it is the perfect time to try adding in some new style staples to the wardrobe. Cotton Traders are always a great place to start looking when it comes to seasonal clothing, and I absolutely love their new Sea Glass collection, featuring everything from swishy skirts to satin trousers and boho beach-ready maxi dresses. The range is truly versatile, with hooded crochet jumpers and blazers to dress pieces up or down easily.
We headed down to the beach at the weekend to celebrate the first days of spring arriving – and were blessed with gorgeous sunshine and blue skies that had my seasonal depression blowing right away! I love the outfit I chose from the range, and that I can adapt it depending on how hot the uk weather decides to be with the simple addition of a basic white cami top.
These satin trousers are so nice, and totally different to my usual choice of clothing, which is perfect for someone looking to change up their style this spring. I paired them with the aforementioned white cami, and threw on the floral print top, also from the Sea Glass collection, over the top to finish the look and smarten it up for a drink in the sunshine on the way home.
I would also pair the print top with a pair of denim shorts or jeans, for a different take on the look, perfect for peaceful picnics or a day at a local attraction with the children. Like I said, the pieces are really great spring wardrobe staples, making the pricing totally affordable!
I also love the slip on ring sandals I chose to finish the look, they would also look great as an alternative to heels, whilst keeping the look smart, for a weekend brunch with the girls.
