With January finally, finally over today, it was the perfect time for a little style freshen up ready for February. Cotton Traders kindly offered for me to pick a few pieces from their website – they have plenty in their New In section to choose from, I was really spoilt for choice.
As I am already looking ahead to Spring, I opted for this gorgeous pastel lilac soft lined blazer, which can be dressed up or down and I know will look amazing come the summer evenings too paired with wedge heels and a pretty dress. It’s lightweight and actually really comfortable to wear on, not always the case with a blazer. The length is good too. I wouldn’t really wear it done up, but there is a button if you wanted to smarten the look up or cover up any areas you might be self conscious about.
To go with the blazer, I chose a plain white vest top, which is always handy to have in your wardrobe, and paired the duo with a pair of preloved Zara jeans that I already had at home.
I chose this pair of memory foam trainers to finish off this smart casual look. They come in two shades, this pretty pastel version and a navy too. They are so soft and comfortable to wear and will be great for the gym for my spin classes as well. I do love a versatile shoe!
I really like the finished look, perfect for daytime networking events, running errands and my freelance lifestyle in general. I can’t wait for the weather to warm up slightly so I can rock this look without the need for my giant coat over the top too!
