Gifted Experience

Earlier this year I started my journey with Beauty Sculpting Room in Poole with the first of six sessions of cavitation focusing on my lower stomach, which I have always had issues with since having three children in my twenties. I wrote about my thoughts after my first session and today I wanted to share the results after my sixth and final session this week.

Before I go any further I want to mention that I was informed at the start of my sessions that I needed to be dedicated to losing weight if I wanted to see results from the cavitation and, although this was something I wanted, there were a couple of obstacles. I definitely worked hard at sticking to my workout goal of four sessions of spin a week, only missing a couple of classes over the four weeks, and I was generally good with my diet as well, only having the occasional ‘cheat’ meal, and cutting right back on any alcohol. However, I did suffer with stress quite a bit, which affected my mental health, and in turn meant I wasn’t as motivated as I would have liked all the time. I also discovered that I may have issues with my gut, which I am due to have blood tests for, and I think this has definitely impacted my ability to lose as much weight as I would have liked to.

Having said that, I have lost weight, and I have also managed to keep it off, something I really struggled with previously. My measurements also went down from my first session to my last. I feel less bloated, more confident and generally more streamlined since I had my first session, and I can see a noticeable difference in the mirror. I think some of the benefits of the treatment are linked with my general wellbeing, for example, I am so much better at drinking water now than I was. Before I would sometimes go a whole day having only had a glass of water and I would have headaches and feel really lethargic by the time I got in from work. Now I drink much more water, sipping from a bottle throughout the day, and drinking litres of water at a time when I want to really flush my system through. I am also eating smaller portions, which is something I found difficult before. I will eat slower and notice when I feel full now, and I also find myself craving nutritious meals over processed snacks. I found the sessions really easy, 100% pain-free (it’s just like having an ultrasound when you are pregnant) and beneficial – the next day I always felt really motivated.

Would I do it again? Definitely. I would look at another area I have an issue with, and I would try my hardest to stay on track throughout the sessions, trying not to let stress and my mental health have an impact on my food choices, as they did a couple of times. Cavitation is most definitely a good option if you are looking to focus on areas of stubborn fat and you need a boost, but you do need to work hard yourself if you want to see the results, it is no quick fix if you aren’t prepared to work for it alongside the treatments. Is it worth the money? At under £100 per session, it isn’t necessarily going to break the bank, and could make a real difference for anybody looking to target an area prior to a special event or holiday.

I was provided with the six sessions of cavitation for the purpose of review, however all words and images are my own.
