Now I am in my thirties, I try really hard to make more of an effort with my skincare. I very rarely fall asleep without taking my makeup off (we’re talking three to four times a year rather than a month) and I notice when I use products which actually do some work. I have been a fan of TEMPLE SPA for a long time now and, although it is on the upper end of my budget, it is a brand I will always gravitate towards and repurchase, because the products really work and I always feel like I have been properly pampered when I use them, compared to some other brands.
I was sent across a few products a couple of months ago, and I wanted to give them a proper chance to do their thing, and to get used to using them in my routine, before I wrote this post. I am working fairly long hours at the moment, summer is always a bit stressful in the hospitality industry, as you can imagine, so I have skin that definitely needs some TLC. I have been using the Life Defence, Let’s Concentrate and In the Beginning products each morning, and some evenings, and my skin feels fresher, clearer and brighter after two months of use.
I am a devout user of a micellar water, but I have been double cleansing using the In the Beginning deep cleansing melt, smoothed off with a warmed face cloth, and my word can you tell the difference when you have used both compared to one! I love it so much that I use it each morning, to clean the night away ready for the day ahead. A little goes a long way, and I have only made a small dent in the product, even with twice daily use.
I had heard lots of amazing things about the Let’s Concentrate skin glowing serum online so I was really excited to try it out and it hasn’t disappointed. I love the soft scent, which sinks into your skin and leaves it feeling hydrated and nourished deep down – I can definitely tell when I have skipped this part of my skincare, and I miss it when I travel and leave it at home!
My favourite of the trio though? The Life Defence moisturiser – which surprised me, as I have been a No7 girl for years when it came to daily moisturisers. This one has an SPF 30, which is reassuring, as taking care of your skin in the sun is so important, especially if you are out and about for your job, as I have been recently. I love how quickly this lightweight cream sinks in to my skin, but also how fresh it leaves me feeling. It is the perfect final step in my morning skincare regime, and I will 100% be repurchasing when it comes to it (although again, a little goes a long way, as I find with most TEMPLE SPA products).
I love the three products I was sent from TEMPLE SPA, and would recommend them to anybody looking for staple skincare items that will have your skin feeling nourished and cared for every day.
