For as long as I can remember, I have struggled with exercising regularly. I find it really difficult to get into the right mindset and habits, when it comes to working out, and I need to push myself really hard to get going with it, after a break. Since the beginning of the year, I have barely done any exercise, and it was starting to have a really negative effect on me, not just physically (I was feeling very lethargic, bloated and got out of breath easily), but also mentally. When my mental health starts to take a hit, I know I need to make some positive changes.
I struggle to workout during the day or in the evening due to the children having their school work to do, and then not being able to work around them and the puppy, so I have to get up early and get my workout in first thing, which is another reason I haven’t been doing it, as I am NOT a morning person… But, needs must, so I have been jumping out of bed the past few mornings, rather than snoozing the alarm, and it has really helped already to get me feeling so much more awake and positive and ready to take on the rest of the day. I am sure the sunshine has also helped, I am so much happier in Spring and Summer than Autumn/Winter, but I am hoping to keep up the daily workouts to really kickstart things.

To help me get motivated, Dare2b have sent over some of their range of activewear clothing, including a top, sports leggings, zip up hoody and trainers, which I love. Fully kitted out, I am ready to take on my daily workouts, whatever the weather. The trainers are so comfy, and just right for working out in the lounge or in the garden. I love a good Boxfit workout, and have a couple I usually follow on YouTube, but I am also planning to mix things up with some yoga and potentially Couch to 5k again, after not finishing it a couple of years ago.

As well as working out, Bella is keeping me on my toes, and I am really enjoying getting out and about for our daily walks. The hoody from Dare2B is brilliant for the weather at the moment, where it is nice and warm when the sun is shining, but still a little chilly for just a t-shirt on our dog walks.

I am really pleased with the clothing I have been sent from Dare2B, they have a brilliant range, if you are looking to stock up on activewear. I know there has been a lot of posts across social media at the moment, following the announcement of the UK’s Roadmap out of lockdown and not needing to feel a pressure to slim down prior to 21st June, but for me it isn’t about drastic measures or needing to look my best after lockdown, it’s about feeling the best version of myself I can be for my own health, wellbeing and confidence and I am looking forward to getting back into things now that the days are getting lighter and I can enjoy working out in the garden as well as indoors.
