You may already know that I work for a local charity, handling their social media channels. Prama has eight charity shops in the local area, several of which have opened back up following lockdown, over the past few weeks. I helped get the Kinson branch ready to reopen and couldn’t resist picking myself up a few bargains at the same time.
First up was this gorgeous little black dress from Lipsy. It was just £3 and fit perfectly. I love how it looks with heels, and I can’t wait for an excuse to wear it out for drinks. I have had Lipsy dresses before, and find they last well. For £3 I couldn’t pass it by, even if I do have a large collection of going out dresses already.
I also couldn’t resist this green jumper dress, originally from Dorothy Perkins. The material is so comfortable, and it’s really flattering on my figure and easy to wear with a pair of flat knee high tan boots – the perfect transitional piece as we head into colder weather. Again, it cost just £3. I wore it for a walk with Ed and the kids and really liked how it looked on.
Finally, I picked up this purple jumpsuit from Boohoo, which was part of the premium pre-loved range (still a total bargain at £6). I love how it looks with a pair of heels and simple gold jewellery. I wore this over the weekend, for birthday celebrations, and it was really comfortable to wear. I also didn’t feel self conscious about my tummy area, as I often do when wearing jumpsuits. Definitely a winner for me.
I am a total charity shop convert since working for Prama. You can pick up some amazing bits if you just have a look through the rails. I highly recommend a visit, if you’re local!
