Although my blog covers a whole range of topics, I don’t tend to specialise in one area above the others. In some ways this ‘jack of all trades’ persona has made it harder to stand out and to gain a following, without a specific niche, but I also love how much freedom I have in what I want to write about. Today I thought I would share with you some of the other blogs that I love, so that if you are looking for something in particular, you might find it over on these websites.
If you are looking for home inspiration….
Ever since I first met her, I have been in awe of the lovely Chynna’s house renovation. The before and after pictures are incredible and both Chynna and her husband Aaron just have an eye for interior design, meaning their house is totally gorgeous. As with most renovation projects, the work isn’t over just yet, so if you are looking to buy a project yourself, or you just like beautiful interiors, head over to At Home with the Johnsons.
If you are a total foodie…
Don’t get me wrong, I love food. I love eating it and taking photos of it, and I have had the chance to review plenty of local restaurants, bars and cafes over the past few years since I started running the Bournemouth Bloggers, but I wouldn’t refer to myself as a foodie. I love food, but I don’t know much about it. If you are looking for somebody whose passion for local food and drink jumps off of the page, make sure you check out The 15 Mile Foodie. Rachael is a fellow Bournemouth Blogger and both her blog and Instagram page are jam packed with gorgeous images and fantastic write-ups about the food Dorset and the surrounding areas have to offer.
If you need to know about the latest beauty trend….
I love makeup and skincare, but sometimes I feel like a total novice when it comes to beauty trends and what is ‘hot’ right now. Somebody who knows her stuff when it comes to beauty is Hayley Hall. I actually came across Hayley’s blog when I started working with her for a beauty brand, and ever since I have been in awe of the content she creates and the knowledge she has for all things beauty. Seriously, if you are looking to find out more about skincare or makeup, give Hayley a little look.
If you follow fashion….
I have said for a long time that I don’t follow fashion, but I do love writing about my own personal style. I still play it pretty safe when it comes to choosing what to wear, although I am working on stepping out of my comfort zone, now that I have gained some more self confidence. Sanja, another of the Bournemouth Bloggers, is a total inspiration to me. Everything she wears looks so effortlessly cool and stylish, and she is certainly not afraid to experiment and do her own thing. If you want to know more about fashion, Sanja is your, totally down to earth, girl. Visit her website at My Fashion Mission.
If you want some ideas for a family day out…
Looking for some inspiration on what to get up to with the children? Whether you are looking for craft activities, toy reviews or fun days out to enjoy post-lockdown, Donna, who runs What the Redhead Said, is the font of all knowledge when it comes to parenting blogs. P.S, she also has a whole series of fudge recipes, if you fancy a sweet treat whilst you’re at home. You can thank me later…
