A Little Bedroom Refresh for Spring

•Features gifted items•

Spring has almost sprung and, although we are still currently living in rented accommodation, I wanted to give our bedroom a little freshen up for the new season. We have had slightly festive bedding since the run up to Christmas, so I was looking out for something a little fresher when I was sent an email about the new By Caprice Home range at Appletree Living, which I have included in my Mother’s Day Gift Guide. The range is beautiful with perfect, crisp white, subtly sparkly designs. I knew I had to have the Hepburn design as soon as I saw it, and I was not disappointed when it arrived and I put it on our bed.

The sequins are subtle enough for Ed to be ok with them (although he has said he can’t sleep with the pillow on as it irritated him), whilst still be shimmery enough to please my inner princess, and I love how it freshens up the room, making everything look instantly brighter – perfect for the start of Spring.

I have worked with Beautify several times before and absolutely love their pieces for the home, so I was really pleased to be sent across their Faux Fur throw in a beautiful baby pink shade (I also have it in grey and it is just so soft and snuggly – we all fight over it when it comes to family film night). I was also sent across a second large pink cushion, which is another favourite of ours as it is perfect for sitting up in bed when watching Netflix.

I love how these simple pieces have made all the different to our bedroom, which was looking a little closed in and dismal with its dark purple and burgundy bedcovers from the winter. The sheets are not only aesthetically pleasing, they are also so soft and comfortable and feel of high quality. I’m really impressed and will definitely be recommending the By Caprice Home range for anyone looking to treat themselves to new bedding this spring.

I was sent across the items featured in this post, however all words and images are my own.
