30th Birthday Gift Guide

Features gifted items

Ok everyone, this is my two day warning. It’s my birthday on 2nd May and I am going to be the grand old age of thirty. Yes, I am waving goodbye to my twenties and starting a brand new decade. I have mixed emotions about this milestone birthday, but for the most part I am excited and looking forward to a few days of celebrations with family and friends. If you are looking for gift inspiration for somebody turning 30 themselves, I have put together a gift guide featuring some lovely brands with ideas ranging from beauty to practical gifts, and some alcohol and chocolate thrown in for good measure. Enjoy!

Rose Gold 30th Birthday Picture Frame

This 30th frame from Prezzybox is gorgeous. I can’t wait to add a photo from my birthday celebrations to it, although I might struggle choosing just the one!

SEKSY Embrace Perfume

I previously featured the SEKSY Elegance fragrance in my Mother’s Day Gift Guide, and have been wearing it as an everyday scent. I was kindly sent over another of their fragrances, Embrace, which is slightly stronger and will be lovely to wear out for my birthday meal and drinks this weekend.

What better gift than the gift of time (sorry, couldn’t resist). This beautiful gold watch is part of Adexe’s Miniature Sistine collection, a more affordable and dainty range with a selection of colours and materials to choose from to suit your recipient, with prices from just £79. I love the Rose Gold watch with Rose Gold face that I received, it is gorgeous! You can use discount code EVENANGELFALLS15 for 15% off orders from ADEXE.

Dash Cam

I’m a big fan of gadgets and this Dash Cam from Nextbase, is perfect for car lovers. This 212 model records in full 1080p HD and delivers clear images, whilst also sensing accidents, automatically saving video files to refer back to later if required.

Letterbox Cake

I first discovered the joy of Letterbox gift cakes from bakerdays a couple of years ago and I love ordering them as a little surprise for birthdays and special occasions. The cake comes in a lovely tin, able to keep the contents fresh for up to 14 days.

The best part? The cake fits through most letterboxes, meaning your recipient will get to have their cake and eat it too (seriously, I am on a roll with these puns today).

The cakes can be fully personalised with names and even photos on some designs. I love this vintage floral photo cake, the perfect early birthday treat for me!

Lindor Sweet Tree

How could I not include this Lindor sweet tree from Giftpup? Comprised of delicious Lindor chocolate with an edible toffee crisp core, and chocolates in the base, this novelty treat makes the perfect gift for anybody with a sweet tooth.

You can personalise the base to suit the occasion. Unfortunately the recent heat-wave meant mine melted a little before I took these photos. It still tasted incredible!

Hollywood X-Press Makeup Mirror

This makeup mirror from Illuminated Mirrors is brilliant! It comes with a padded storage case and can be used with or without the surrounding light turned on and adjusted to provide the perfect angle. The touch-sensitive dimmer even allows you to adjust the light’s intensity and the mirror comes with a USB charging cable.

Beauty and the Beast Chip Mug

This Chip mug from Prezzybox would make a lovely gift for any Disney fan! The perfect companion to the Mrs Potts Tea Pot, also available from Prezzybox.

Heart Star Map

This personalised Heart Star Map from Posterhaste is so beautiful and a lovely, sentimental gift for a birthday or special occasion. I love that it can be fully personalised with name, title and a caption.

You can also choose the size for the print and opt to have it framed. There are a whole range of colour options to choose from as well, to help create the ultimate gift.

Eyelure Eyelashes

The range of Eyelure lashes available nowadays is pretty impressive. If you’re anything like me, it can be a little overwhelming choosing which to get for myself, so it was lovely to receive a few sets to try out from the team at False Eyelashes.

These would make a lovely gift for a friend. I recommend the Texture set – they are so flattering! Eyelure lashes come with adhesive and are reusable, making them a firm favourite of mine when it comes to flash lashes.

Clothing from Kit and Kaboodl

After I posted photos of myself on Instagram wearing the Cashmere Rainbow Jumper from Kit and Kaboodl, which I featured in my Mother’s Day Gift Guide (and haven’t stopped wearing since), so many people have commented on how lovely it is so I was more than happy to be sent across another item from the new collection.

This Tebay Floral Dress is absolutely gorgeous – I love how bright and floaty it is – it will be amazing for days at the beach this summer. It also comes in Stone and Nutmeg, and is ‘one size’.

Red Letter Days Voucher

I’m a big fan of Red Letter Days for experiences. There is something for everyone from meals to spa days. I was kindly sent a voucher for a Champneys Massage and Facial, which I’m really looking forward to using.

Flower Bouquet

A delivery from Haute Florist would make a beautiful birthday gift. You can choose from an array of stunning bouquets and hat boxes, with extras including teddies, chocolates and wine. Free UK next day delivery when ordered prior to 10pm.

Personalised Bottle of Wine*

Another fantastic brand I featured in a recent gift guide. It’s Your Bottle offer personalised bottles of wine for every occasion, with a huge range of designs to choose from. I love this ‘I Heard It’s Your Birthday?’ label, which you can either purchase on its own or opt to buy a bottle of wine to have the label on. I went for Sauvignon Blanc as it’s my favourite but you can choose from Bordeaux,  Rjoja, Chardonnay, Rose or even Prosecco.

SPECK Phone Cases and Accessories

I am a huge fan of SPECK phone cases. They are so tough and strong and come in a range of designs. My current favourite is this Clear and Glitter case, which looks lovely on my rose gold iPhone 8Plus.

I also think these Grab Tabs, which help to provide a secure hold on your device without adding bulk are a really good idea! It also doubles up as a phone stand to watch or film videos.

Joma Jewellery

This 30th birthday bracelet from Joma Jewellery, available to purchase from Edmonds Jewellers is gorgeous and looks so lovely on.

Gordon’s Pink Gin*

Gotta love a bottle of Gordon’s Pink Gin. I only found a love for Gin last summer and this is one of my favourites (just make sure you mix it with lemonade as I can’t stand tonic!).

Retro Football Sweatshirt

Buying for a football fan? The Old Fashioned Football Shirt Company (TOFFS) have a range of retro football clothing including this Bournemouth one, which is so soft and comfortable.

Items featured in this gift guide have been sent to me for inclusion, however all words and images are my own.
