Spring is officially here and with the warmer, sunnier weather we’ve been having I have been finding myself unsure of what to wear. I have lots of special occasions coming up over the next couple of months, including my birthday, and I have been looking for something to wear during the day. Fashion World are a clothing, accessories and homeware website, featuring ranges for men, women and children at affordable prices.
The website is really easy to navigate, with the option to search by clothing type, size, colour, price and brand – perfect for if you are looking for something specific. If you are unsure of what you want, they also have fashion edits such as their ‘holiday shop‘ to provide inspiration.
I fell in love with the Together Beaded Top and wanted something simple to wear with it, that could also be worn again and again. The Lucy high waist skinny jeans in indigo were just what I was looking for. I love that they come in petite, regular and long lengths as well as a range of sizes to suit a variety of body shapes. The reviews on the website for the jeans were all really positive with regards to fit as well.
I have been looking for a new handbag for ages as my old one broke a few months ago and I have been using a little Disney backpack since January, which doesn’t really look brilliant when I attend networking events or head out for a meal! I am not a huge fan of black handbags, especially when it comes to the spring as they can look a bit boring. I absolutely loved the winged tote bag in blue when I saw it on the website and knew I had to have it.
When my order arrived, I was really excited to try everything on. It came just in time for Mother’s Day so I had the perfect chance to wear the outfit for the first time at the weekend when we headed out for brunch on the seafront.
The jeans fit perfectly and give a flattering silhouette, whilst the top received lots of compliments. I love the detailing of the top, and how it looks when paired with the jeans and bag. I wore it with a blush pink blazer on Mother’s Day to keep the sea breeze at bay and I loved the pastel shades working together.
The top is hand wash only, which I am not a huge fan of as I am awful at washing anything by hand and prefer shoving everything in the washing machine, but it is a small price to pay for such a gorgeous piece of clothing, which I am sure will be worn many times.
The handbag is nice and big, which I love as a mum of three who often has everything but the kitchen sink on my person at any given day. It fits my makeup, purse, phone, book and notebook inside easily and is sure to brighten up any outfit.
Fashion World have a brilliant selection of clothing, accessories, gifts and homeware. They are a one-stop shop and worth a visit.
This is a paid, sponsored post, however all words and images are my own.
