The weather has definitely taken a turn for the worse again this week. With temperatures dipping, and heating going on all over the UK, it has never been more important to spend a little time pampering yourself and taking care of your skin. Since going along to blogging events with both Lush and The Body Shop in the last month, I have been making an extra effort to have a pamper. These are the pampering products I have been loving this season.
Lush Christmas Range
I will admit, up until the last year or so I totally didn’t get the obsession with Lush. I was very much a quick shower over a bath kinda girl and the strong scents just didn’t appeal to me. Fast forward to now and I can’t get enough of them. I would have a Lush bath every evening if I could afford to.
There is nothing more relaxing than a nice hot bubble bath and it is the perfect way to unwind and kick off a good pamper session. I picked up a couple of the festive range whilst at an event with Bournemouth Bloggers this month and I will be stocking up on some more before they stop selling them. The Golden Wonder is a new favourite!
St Moriz is my favourite fake tan and has been since I was a uni student and going out every other night, when I would want to look tanned and toned in a flash. The tan is incredibly similar to another similar big name brand but costs a fraction of the price.
It is fool-proof to apply and gives a lovely tan in minutes. Although these days my nights out are a lot less frequent, I still like to give myself a tan from time to time, especially when the colder weather rolls around and my skin becomes pale. St Moriz are celebrating their 10 year anniversary and I was sent over their primer, tanning mousse and the tan applicator mitt to mark the occasion.
The Body Shop Vanilla Pumpkin Range
I recently went to an event with the Bournemouth Bloggers at The Body Shop and whilst there, I took advantage of the discount they were offering and stocked up on several items including a couple of products from the limited edition Vanilla Pumpkin range. I have been obsessed ever since.
The body butter and hand cream smell like cake, nice and rich and sweet and perfect for a pick me up during a good pamper session. I have been trying to use the body butter daily as my skin is so dry during the colder months, and I am loving smelling like a pumpkin pie.
I am a total razor girl when it comes to hair removal. For quick, fuss and pain-free hair removal I reach for a razor whilst in the shower. The Venus & Olay razors are fantastic as they come with added moisturiser strips, which help to soften and smooth whilst you shave leaving skin silky soft when you get out of the shower. I have swapped my usual razor for these ones and have noticed a difference in the closeness of my shave, with less irritation afterwards. Highly recommend!
Are there any products you’d recommend for some pampering this season?
I was gifted some of the products featured in this post, however all words and images are my own.
