Wedding Wednesday – The Perfect Anniversary Gift

I have always loved anniversaries. There is something so lovely to celebrate another year together. When I got married last September, I swapped my relationship anniversary for a new one and this year Ed and I celebrated our very first wedding anniversary. Choosing a gift was difficult – there is so much choice out there.

The traditional gift for one year of marriage is paper and Prezzybox recently sent over their Personalised Anniversary Journal for Ed and I to try out. Not only does the personalised book fit with the paper theme, it is also a gift that keeps on giving as it is used to document each subsequent year of your marriage as well as your relationship before the wedding.

The book comes in a beautiful embossed cream gift box and looks totally luxurious, making it the perfect present for an anniversary or even a wedding. The front cover is personalised with your names and the date of your wedding and inside you are able to add further personalisation with a short message.

The book starts with ‘Where it all Began’, a place for you to document how you first met and your first date and then each double page spread is a place to write about another year of your marriage.

There is also space to add in photos from each year, something I love as I take so many photos and rarely put them into albums. It will be lovely to look back on us growing old together in years to come.

The book is also brilliant as a reminder for the next year’s traditional and modern theme of gift, with this included at the top of each year’s page. It’s so interesting to look at the years and think about how our lives might have changed by that point. I am really excited to see where life will take us.

The Personalised Anniversary Journal is the perfect anniversary gift. I am excited to add to it each year and to have a memento to cherish and share with those close to us when we are old and grey.

I was provided with the anniversary journal for the purpose of this post, however all words and images are my own.
