Mummy Mondays – The Ultimate Girly Gift Guide with GirlZone

I don’t know why but every year I really struggle when it comes to gift ideas for the children’s friends. With two of them in school now, there are generally lots of party invites throughout the year and each time I end up panic buying something from the supermarket the day before.

This year I am really trying to think ahead and put together a stash of gifts for both girls and boys so that I have something ready when the kids bring another invite home. I was recently sent a lovely collection of products from GirlZone which would be perfect gifts!

GirlZone have a website filled with fun and girly gifts from stuffed toys and hair accessories to bright and bold stationery. You can buy direct from the website or from Amazon. With all orders fulfilled by Amazon, if you are a Prime member, delivery is free!

We were sent the Ultimate Art Set, which contains over 100 items including coloured pens, pencils and crayons along with paints and accessories. The carry case allows for easy storage and transportation. This would be the perfect gift for budding artists and Carly was over the moon with it!

The Relaxation Colouring Book is filled with fantastic illustrations to keep children amused for hours. I will be taking this along on our next long journey as it’s a brilliant way to fight boredom and to relax tired minds. Carly particularly likes the designs involving food, with the ice cream one a firm favourite. I love the more intricate illustrations like the dragonfly.

Carly’s favourite items were the My Secret Diary, which comes with its own little padlock and two keys to keep it safe from prying eyes, and the Fruit Scented Felt Tip Pen Set, which was full to bursting with 30 fun and fruity colours. The roll up carry case for the scented pens is really nice and well designed, and is perfect for keeping the pens together, or for use as an alternative pencil case.

As well as arts and crafts, GirlZone have a fantastic selection of hair and body accessories including their popular Hair Chalk & Body Glitter Studio and the Temporary Metallic Flash Tattoos. I think Carly is a little too young for these at the moment, but she loved how colourful the packaging was and I think they would be perfect as gifts for girls a little older, or to use with supervision as fun additions to a party, disco or festival.

The last, but certainly not least, item we received from GirlZone was the Large Pink Unicorn Stuffed Toy. This was an instant hit with Carly, who at almost six is still very much into her cuddly toys. The unicorn was promptly given a name and positioned in pride of place on Carly’s bed. It is quite big at 46cm, but not too large to carry around and cuddle. I gave it a quick snuggle and can confirm it is as soft as the website states and perfect as a gift for those who love unicorns!

We were impressed with the selection of gifts on offer on the GirlZone website, and will definitely keep the company in mind for future present ideas. Plus they will be able to come to the rescue if my good intentions fail and I end up in need of a gift last minute as their products are available for free next day delivery for us as Amazon Prime members.

We were sent a selection of gifts from GirlZone for the purpose of this post, however all words and images are my own.
