Food & Fitness Friday – What I’ve Been Eating

This week I took a poll on Twitter as to whether I should revert back to Foodie Friday and drop the fitness from the name, and the consensus seemed to be yes.

And despite this being yet another post focused entirely on food, I’m reluctant to leave fitness behind just yet as I feel I’ll be even less motivated without it. I must admit, it’s not been at the forefront of my mind over the past few weeks.

In fact, during my anxiety diagnosis and yet another period of depression, I’ve been turning more and more to comfort food.

So, what have I been eating recently?

*warning – I take no responsibility for feelings of extreme hunger from looking at these images*

A yummy Easter roast

Plenty of chocolate eggs

Delicious fajitas

Tasty treats for my hen weekend

 Chocolate crepes

Birthday lunch on the go

Family birthday celebration buffet feast

Taco Bell

Hangover curing curry

Nutella smothered doughnuts

With our trip to Spain just over a week away (not to mention the wedding being in 3 months time) I seriously need to stop eating all the bad food and get back to healthy eating but with so many delicious foot outlets opening in Bournemouth over the coming weeks, I can’t see that happening anytime soon!

  1. ah you have to do what makes you happy, but I love food & fitness Friday (it’s my fav in fact). I don’t think it matters your not doing much fitness (as long as your open about that, which you are). People can relate to that. Well I can hehe!

  2. Oh my goodness, it’s not fair to show people that when they’re (meant to be) on a diet!!! How yummy does your food look recently?! I have to say I was drooling over the roast, let alone all of the rest.

  3. I love my food and I tend to binge out on stuff and then try to go healthy for a bit, I’m not going to beat myself up about it, I want to be happy and don’t want to feel hungry all the time and every time I have tried to diet this is how I feel.
I think exercise and eating are totally complimentary topics btw
