Foodie Friday – Snacks for Labour 

So with labour now something I can’t really avoid, I’ve been preparing for it in every way I know how. 

As I’m planning a home birth, I’ve been able to stock my cupboards rather than just a birth bag with snacks for during the big event. 

I’ve tried to go for snacks which aren’t too fatty or full of flavour – it’s best to stick to fairly bland snacks that can keep up your energy levels when you need it most. 

Crackers 


Digestive Biscuits 

Pretzels 


Jelly 


Iced Water
