With three young children, it can sometimes feel like we have toys, puzzles, books and games in every corner of the house. As much as having a truly tidy house may be a bit of a pipe dream at the moment, it is nice to have a bit of order to the chaos, and storage solutions which aren’t just practical, but also look nice and fit in with the decor are something I am always on the lookout for. When Nöa and Nani offered to send out their Lola Toy Box in White for us to review, it was perfect timing.
The delivery was quick and simple. The toy box comes flat packed, in a nice, sturdy cardboard box with plenty of additional padding to keep it safe and unmarked in transit. The instructions, although fairly straightforward, I passed over to Ed, as I am not great at assembling furniture of any kind. He put the toy box together in around 15 minutes, and we brought it into Carly’s room, where it fit in nicely underneath her bay windows.
One of the main reasons I liked this style of toy box, compared to the others on the Nöa and Nani website was the box doubles up as a seat when the lid is down. You can choose to create a space where your child can sit and chill out and it also allows you to put whatever you want on top. I love how this area of the room has been transformed, and really shows Carly’s character with the toys and books she is currently loving out to see.
The box itself is lovely and deep, with plenty of storage space inside for Carly to put her toys and games when they are not being used. The box has a special soft close hinge, to help protect children’s fingers, which is perfect for young children learning to tidy away their belongings independently.
I am really pleased with the Lola White Toy Box, and am sure we will be revisiting the Nöa and Nani website when we move house and are redecorating. As well as toy boxes, they also offer a huge range of furniture designed with families in mind. I love their cabin beds – the designs are so practical whilst also being fun for children.
We were sent the Lola Toy Box in White for the purpose of this review, however all words and images are my own.
