If you checked out my week in the life vlog, or follow me on Instagram, you may have seen me mention that I bought myself some beauty treats with a gift card in Marks and Spencer’s recently. They were items that I loved the look of, but simply wouldn’t have been able to justify had I not of had the gift card to spend.
One of my favourites from the mini haul was the Origins Ginzing™ Ultra-Hydrating Energy-Boosting Cream. Priced at £25 for a 50ml pot, this is a pretty pricey cream, but it is worth every penny. The scent is just absolutely gorgeous, a lovely fresh burst of oranges, and it completely wakes me up in the morning when I apply it.
I have eczema, and it makes my skin quite sensitive to a lot of face creams but this one causes no irritation, and just feels amazing when applied. The consistency of the cream is nice and thick but it absorbs into the skin quickly and doesn’t leave any greasy or oily residue behind. It really does feel like it gives the skin a huge amount of hydration.
The cream brightens up my face before applying my primer and makeup each morning, and my skin feels incredible after using it for a couple of weeks. A little goes a long way, and I have barely made a dent in the pot yet, despite using the cream both day and night.
The Origins Ginzing range also has a dedicated eye cream, a gel moisturiser, tinted moisturiser, scrub and mist, and now I want them all! I am a firm believer that the expense of a product doesn’t necessarily guarantee good results, but in this case it really was worth spending that little extra, and I will be saving up to repurchase once this pot is gone.
