Style – Keeping Cool & Covered Up in Mexico with Miss Tunica

You may have seen my previous post, talking about the essentials I packed to take with me to Mexico. In addition to these, I also had with me a very lovely cover up, which had been gifted to me by the people at Miss Tunica.

This Nikki tunic, comes in a variety of shades, including the one I went for which is called Hot Maroon, and is a brilliant bright pink colour.

The tunic comes as a two piece set, allowing you to feel confident and comfortable, as the slip prevents the tunic from being see-through.

Mexico was around 30 degrees when we were there last week, and very hot and humid during the daytimes, I knew I wanted to stick to loose, flowing fabrics during our stay, and this was perfect for wearing around the resort, and slipping on over my bikini between sunbathing sessions by the pool.

The loose chiffon material meant that I was comfortable, whilst the embellished design allowed me to feel dressed up enough to head to the beach bar to indulge in a cocktail, or two.

I love the fushia colour, especially how it looked against the beautiful blues of the sea and sky, and the bright colours really popped in my photos.

As well as the Nikki tunic, the Miss Tunica website has a variety of other designs, including a range of tunics and skirts, plus accessories including the beautiful turquoise stone ring that I was also kindly sent, and unique foot and body jewellery to help you stand out by the pool.

As mentioned, I was sent the items featured in this post, however all opinions and photos are my own.
