Features press samples

Spooky season is upon us and I am not ashamed to say that I love Halloween! There is something so fun about decorating your house all spooky, embracing the organically created cobwebs (hey, it’s an excuse not to dust for a few weeks) and dressing up to celebrate the season (and to open the door to all those trick or treaters…). This year we have our bigger house, perfect for hosting parties, so I am even more excited to celebrate. I have worked with some wonderful brands to put together this post, featuring spookily sweet treats, party props and gift ideas for your little (and not so little) pumpkins. You’re welcome…

Halloween Cupcakes

bakerdays are my go to when it comes to themed cupcakes and these spooky halloween emoji cupcakes were very much appreciated in our house! I love how fun and playful they are, without being too gruesome for younger children to enjoy at a party! You can choose your flavour, so we had a mixture of chocolate and vanilla, which went down really well. These are honestly the creamiest cupcakes I have had, love them!

Tokyo Treat Box

I am a big fan of the Tokyo Treat subscription box and this Halloween themed version was really fun to explore. I love that it encourages me and the children to be a bit more adventurous when it comes to snacks – I especially loved the Apple Pie flavour Kit Kats (they reminded me of Caramac in flavour, and smelt a little like a Pumpkin Spice candle).

Swizzels Sweets

Swizzels have some fantastic sweets including these chews and lollies, which are perfect for Trick or Treaters, or to add to your Halloween party table! I am a huge fan of the chews in particular – a deliciously devilish treat at this time of year….

Bebeto Sweets

Bebeto sweets are oh so yummy and we were delighted to be sent a selection of their spooky treats recently. My personal fave have to be the Fizzy Fangs, but the kids also love the Mummies Bandages and Witches Hair and the Spooky Mix Trick or Treat bags are great for giving out to Trick or Treaters on Halloween night.

Churros

Let’s face it, Churros are welcome any day of the week in our house, but they would also make a great addition to your Halloween party! These Spanish Churros from unearthed (available to buy at Asda) come with cinnamon sugar and chocolate sauce to bring the taste of the Mediterranean to your home. I have sampled them and can confirm, they are delicious!

Halloween Decorations

We cannot wait to get our house looking all spooky ahead of our Halloween party, and Temu have got a massive selection on offer all at extremely affordable prices. I love the skeletons and gothic halloween wreath. I was also sent the cutest little ghost figurine to display, and a ghost hair clip, perfect to add a little spooky touch for younger kids who don’t fancy wearing a full outfit.

Harry Potter Toys

This Junior Invisibility Cloak and Marauders Map would make brilliant Halloween gifts for children as an alternative, or in addition to, Halloween sweets. They are also great additions to a Halloween party – think how much fun could be have making the kids in attendance ‘disappear’ with the cloak!

Diecast Figures

These Monsters and Wednesday Die Cast figures would make cool gifts or excellent alternative decor for your Halloween gathering! My daughter was obsessed with Wednesday and her favourite character was Edith, so I know she is going to love having this on display in her bedroom.

Halloween Crafts

Whether you are looking for a fun half term craft activity, or looking to add some fun to a child-friendly halloween party, these Halloween Crafts from Baker Ross are just what you need! I love the Colour-in & Sticker Halloween Boo Box  so much themed fun!

Gremlins Mini Figures

How cute! Or are they? These Gremlins Mini Figures would be the perfect present for a big kid this Halloween. Collect them all and have them on display… but remember, don’t have food round them after midnight!

Yoto Audio Cards

The Yoto Player is brilliant, allowing children to enjoy screen free audiobooks and music and these Halloween themed cards are sure to keep them entertained for hours! I especially love Room on the Broom – such a great story!

LUSH Halloween Range

The perfect way to relax post-party – with a LUSH Halloween haul! I am obsessed with this Countdown to Halloween set, which is like a spooky version of an advent calendar. Behind each door are pampering treats to enjoy. Plus I couldn’t resist getting a Pumpkin Spice Candle. They also have some brilliant themed shower additions for the young at heart – the amazing octopus is available in different sizes (I would recommend the Octopus Prime, such a novelty) and the Alien Egg Farm shower jelly reminds me of those alien slime toys you got when I was a kid!

I hope you’ve enjoyed my roundup of Halloween treats – do let me know in the comments what your favourites were!

This post features products gifted to me, however all words and images are my own.
