Ahh autumn, how I love and hate thee. As somebody who suffers from SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder), I do struggle more with my mental health when the days become shorter and it is generally more dark, dull and dismal outside. This is one of the reasons I am so happy to be collaborating again with Cotton Traders, as their range of clothing, homeware and gifts remind me that autumn can also be such a fun time of year. I have chosen items from Cotton Traders website to help bring a little cosy to the start of autumn.
First up was this beautiful Helena Textured Duvet set in white which, when paired with our new hybrid duvet, has provided the comfiest night’s sleep in a long time – serious hotel bed vibes! It is so affordable at only £40 for a king size duvet and two pillowcases as well.
Next, I wanted an outfit that would make me feel stylish whilst being nice and cosy too. I love this long sleeve turtleneck top, which I can wear with jeans or my trusty leather mini skirt and boots. The cosiest Longline hooded cardigan finishes the look, but I know it will also be thrown over everything this season, it is so snuggly and warm – perfect for these colder days.

I am a big fan of Cotton Traders as their clothing always lasts for ages, it is such good quality and I always get compliments when I am wearing something from there.
I know that autumn is a hard time for me when it comes to my mental health, so I am making sure to take time for me as much as possible as the long nights draw in and the daylight dwindles. Having a cosy base to escape to is my ultimate tip, I put the fairy lights on, cosy up in bed with a feel-good film or TV show and make sure to prioritise my sleep.
