Festival season is fully upon us now and I have put together a little guide for anybody heading to their first festival who might not know what to pack, or for seasoned pros who just fancy a little refresher or some tips from a fellow festival go-er this summer. Let me know what you would add to the list!

Craft Beer Ice Box

It can get annoying carting large ice boxes around a festival. I love this Craft Beer Ice Box from Best of British Beer as it is recyclable, keeping beers cold whilst being fully re-usable despite being cardboard. Such a great product and good if you are looking for a more eco-friendly alternative to the traditional ice box. Plus it comes stocked with 6 cans of craft beer – result!

Flavoured Mash

Potato is a great base for so many dishes and this tasty dried mash made with real potatoes is sure to be a welcome change from beans cooked on the stove next time you are camping at a festival. I love how many tasty flavours this Idahoan Mash comes in, including Bacon & Cheese and my absolute favourite Roasted Garlic. Simply add hot water and enjoy wherever you are!

Moisturiser

To prevent dry skin during those long days, make sure you remember to pack a good moisturiser. I love this Astral moisturiser, which is made with cocoa butter and leaves my skin feeling silky soft and so nourished, even after sleeping in a tent for three days straight…

Eye Drops

Tired, dry eyes after a late night and those alcoholic drinks are a thing of the past with TheraTears Irritation and Red Eye Drops, which contain natural Euphrasia to reduce redness, hydrating eyes in the process. Plus they are contact lens friendly!

DioraHydrate Supplements

Combat festival dehydration with DioraHydrate, fast and effective at replacing lost body salts and treating dehydration. It hydrates much faster than water alone, leaving you more time to get back to those all important acts!

Plant-Based Flossing

Being at a festival doesn’t mean you need to abandon your dental hygiene, make sure to pack your toothbrush and paste alongside these plant-based DenTek flossers and extra strong floss, which are fantastic to keep gums healthy whilst away from home, and so convenient to pack in your rucksack.

Water Wipes

Can’t face the queue for the showers? Pack some Water Wipes for those in between washes. They are also great for cleaning up your face after eating tacos, apparently….

Sunscreen

Last but certainly not least is sunscreen, so important whether the sky is blue or cloudy. I love this SPF50 sunscreen and tinted face sunscreen from Bondi Sands, available from Simply Be.
