As the cold weather and shorter days draw in I am all about cosy clothing. It can be hard to find flattering styles when all you want to do is throw on as many layers as possible to keep you warm, but I have been sent some knitwear from Cotton Traders that is as chic as it is cosy – result! The brand have teamed up with Alex Jones to bring an autumn edit you will want to get your hands on, and I have been busy styling the perfect autumnal outfit for this November (psst you can check out how it looks on Instagram too).

The Cosy Knit

If you are looking for a jumper that is warm whilst still being a flattering fit, this Cutest Cable Crew Neck Jumper from Cotton Traders is the one for you. It comes in a few different shades and I must admit I was a little unsure which to go for, which is how I ended up with two. I think I am leaning more towards the cream, but I love the Cerise shade as well, plus it’s a lovely wintry shade that will be perfect going into December too. The material is fairly thick without being bulky and it feels high quality – it’s so comfy to wear.

The Chicest Coat

Ok so this Classic Double-Breasted Coat is my new favourite. The colour is so stylish and goes with everything in my wardrobe and it is so warm, just what you need on these chilly autumn evenings, but also perfect for a bracing walk along the seafront or out in the forest too (seriously, love where I live here in Dorset, we have epic walks). I would say that the coat runs big so if you are between sizes like I am, size down rather than up. I prefer the coat undone personally, but it can also be done up with double breasted buttons. I love how it looks paired with some blue denim jeans and the cream jumper and my trust black boots.

Cotton Traders have some brilliant autumnal pieces on their website right now including plenty of knitwear and the Alex Jones autumn edit, which is well worth checking out! Let me know what your go to autumnal style is in the comments or over on Instagram!

This post features press samples gifted for the purpose of review, however all words and images are my own.
