Press Event
If you’re wondering where to go to get your Panto fix this Christmas in Dorset, look no further than Bournemouth Pavilion’s production of Snow White. The legendary Su Pollard (of Hi-De-Hi fame) plays the Wicked Queen, joining firm favourite Noel Brodie, who has been a key part of the Bournemouth for Panto season for the past nine years, and the brilliant Jamie Steen, playing the part of everybody’s favourite Panto dame, whilst Jake Hankey makes his debut on Bournemouth’s stage as Prince Charming.
Jonathan (Ruby on the Road) and I had the pleasure of getting to meet and greet the cast in a speed dating style interview session last week and it was so much fun – definitely getting us in the mood for the festive season!

The cast were all so down to earth and their love for pantomime shone through with Jonathan and I finding out all the juicy behind the scenes goss’ including their best and most memorable panto moments (did you know that Jamie Legg, who plays one of Snow White’s dwarves was once knocked out and had to be rushed off to hospital before the final curtain call for example?).

It was a fab opportunity to find out more about this year’s production in a fun and relaxed environment and I cannot wait to head along in December with my kids (Noel’s even promised a shout out). I know we’ll all be bellowing ‘she’s behind you’ at the top of our lungs – the kids absolutely love the panto atmosphere! If you fancy coming along too, Snow White is on at Bournemouth Pavilion from 2nd to 31st December 2023. You can get your tickets and find out more information on the Pavilion website.
I was invited along to meet the cast of Snow White, however I was under no obligation to write this post and all words and images are my own.
