I never used to be a festival person but over the past few years I have been converted and I am going to three this summer, including my sister’s hen weekend at Camp Bestival, which I am really excited for. To help prepare me for a summer of camping, live music and all the street food, I have joined forces with some brilliant companies in order to bring you your summer festival survival guide.
Suncream

Hopefully the British weather will play ball this year and give us some sunshine and blue skies for those festival sets. Remember that even when it’s cloudy, the sun’s rays can still make it through so ensure you are topped up with suncream throughout the day. Altruist have a fantastic range including specific creams for your face.

Lip Balm

Don’t forget your lips when it comes to sun protection – this lip balm from Blistex is great for on the go top-ups.

Wellies

If the sun doesn’t decide to shine, be prepared with Heavenly Feet’s awesome selection of wellies including this fun dragonfly design, which my sister and I will be rocking during her hen later this month.

Cordless Heating Pad

If you’re camping, don’t be fooled by the summer heat, when it comes to night time, those temperatures are sure to drop and you will appreciate all the warmth you can get. The excellent Big Hug cordless heating pad from Stoov is just perfect for getting snuggly at the end of a long day on your feet.

Body Wipes

Not being able to have a hot shower is one of the worst parts of camping at festivals for me, personally. These body wipes are sure to make things a little more comfy and a little less smelly during your camping experience. I love the mini wipes too – great to have to hand throughout the day as well.

Snacks

Talking about having things to hand during the days, these Plantain Chips are awesome to have when you need a healthy snack and don’t want to be running to that *very expensive* burger van.

Body Lotion

Feel cosy after all that live music and get off to sleep with the help of Better You’s Magnesium Sleep body lotion. This stuff is amazing, I love how it helps me to drift off, even if my mind has been racing.
Protein

Keep on top of your protein intake whilst catching your favourite acts with the tasty protein bars and handy powders from Pulsin.

Intimate Wet Wipes

Keeping you fresh and clean, these intimate wet wipes are the perfect handy companion for those portaloo trips.
Supplements

Keep your mind energised without the need for caffeine with this all-natural food supplement, created to combat fatigue and fogginess.
Antibac

Keep germs at bay, even when visiting the loos at the end of a long day with Milton’s range of antibacterial products including surface wipes and hand gel.
Non-Alcoholic Canned Cocktails

Whether you’re avoiding alcohol or just fancy a bit of a break during the festival from those canned G&Ts, the range of non-alcoholic mocktails from Drink Mocktails are so tasty and won’t leave you with a sore head the next day. My personal fave is the Mockarita – so refreshing and the packaging is super cute too.

Hopefully this guide will have given you some inspo on what essentials to pack this festival season. Make sure you’re following my Instagram to keep up with all my festival festivities over the next couple of months!
