Britain in spring is a bit of a tough one when it comes to organising your wardrobe as one minute it can be bright sunshine and warm temperatures and the next there can be a definite chill in the air, and don’t even get me started on those April showers!
Cotton Traders recently sent me across a selection of their spring range, which has been recently featured on TV, and I was so happy with what they picked out for me!
First up were these brilliant all purpose relaxed jeans, which fit me really well (I have gone up a size lately and have been in denial, but these are just right and don’t have me unfastening the button after a big meal).

The green on point cardigan is not something I would have picked out myself, but I actually really like the colour on me and it is much better to have a bright pop of colour in spring, rather than sticking to black as I usually would. They also have it in a coral colour, which looks lovely!
Talking of a pop of colour, the next outfit definitely delivered! These bright red boldly go trousers are again not something I would opt for usually, but I really like how fun they are, and how they work with a casual spotted blouse for work or going out for dinner or drinks. They come in Navy too, if you don’t want to be quite to vibrant!

I wore this outfit to work, when I visited our wedding venue in Hampshire for their open day, and I had lots of compliments (along with a couple of comments that they could see me coming a mile away). I will definitely be wearing this again, and mixing and matching the items with other pieces in my wardrobe to create the perfect capsule wardrobe for the season.
Cotton Traders have some excellent pieces, if you are looking to freshen up your spring outfits. I particularly love their loose, casual dresses that would work really well as transitional day to night pieces. I love how bright and playful their items are, whilst remaining practical for the UK weather and day to day life.
You can take a look at more of their spring pieces from the new collection in their advert, which is being shown on TV now.
This post features press samples, however all words and images are my own.
