Features Press Samples

I recently shared an update on how we have found our first six weeks with our new Sprocker Spaniel puppy Bella, who is a ball of energy and keeping me on my toes! I wanted to put together another post, focusing on some of the products that I have been sent across, which have been lifesavers for us with Bella, especially now that we are getting used to our newest family member and what she likes and dislikes. The products featured have been previously gifted to me, but are products which I personally love and would recommend to other puppy owners.

Harness, Collar & Lead Set

We have a few collars, harnesses and leads for Bella now, but my favourite has to be the gorgeous set gifted to me from Pet Pooch Boutique, which is so pretty and is surviving through a lot of muddy puddles, puppy rough play and trips to the beach! I keep getting asked where the set is from when I am out on walks with Bella – it really is a gorgeous set. It even comes with a matching bag dispenser, which you can clip onto your clothing (or bum bag, as I have done) for easy access. I am going to be getting another design once Bella has grown out of this one, as I am honestly so impressed.

Puppy Food & Treats

We have tried Bella with a few different brands of puppy food, since getting her, and it has been a bit hit and miss. I was sent across some puppy food and treats from Pooch & Mutt and Bella is a big fan, so much so that we have recently purchased the larger bag of the food for her.

Cuddly Cushion

Bella is getting more used to relaxing and having a daytime snooze in her bed in the lounge now, and this personalised cushion from Getting Personal is super soft and comfy for her to lay down on in there. I love the design – it is so bright and cheerful – Bella loves it.

Poop Bag Holder

If, like me, you would rather not carry around the bag after your puppy has pooped, until you find a bin, this Poop Bag holder is great for discretely transporting their poop from A to B.

Microfibre Towel

Bella doesn’t like baths, so has a shower with me instead. As soon as she gets out, she shakes herself to get dry, so I have to be quick to start drying her off before she soaks the entire bathroom. This microfibre towel, which can be personalised, is brilliant at drying Bella off without getting soaking wet, and it is really warm and dry.

Grooming Brush

Bella still has a really soft, silky coat at the moment, most likely because of her age, but it is still good to get her used to grooming. I am a big fan of Tangle Teezers and Carly and I both have them at home, so I was very excited when I found out that they make them for puppies and dogs too. Bella lets me sit down with her and stroke her hair with the puppy brush, which is encouraging!

Getting used to having a puppy, having not had dogs before, is a learning curve, but these products have helped make the process easier and I would recommend all of them to anybody else with a young puppy.

Products featured in this post have been previously gifted, however all words and images are my own.
