I have been working hard on our bedroom to make it feel comfortable and welcoming for us as the cold, dark evenings draw in. Recently we changed our mattress and, since then, I’ve been adding little touches to the room to make it as welcoming as our bed. Living in rented accommodation can make it a little challenging to create a space that feels your own, but it is possible to add personal touches without breaking your tenancy agreement.
When Domu got in touch to introduce their recently relaunched brand Beautify, I fell in love with pretty much everything in the range. It is full of delicate pinks, cosy throws, block colour pillows and the most gorgeous selection of storage trunks and I could have quite happily found a home for everything.
I was generously gifted a few items from the range and absolutely love how they look in our bedroom. The pink ombre faux fur throw in particular is so comfy and perfect for the chilly temperatures and the large pink velvet cushion is a lovely size to rest back on whilst catching up on Netflix in bed of an evening. The velvet is really soft and comfortable too and the cover can be easily removed for washing.
I went for the set of 2 steel storage trunks in cream, with rose gold detailing and they are brilliant for keeping all my bits and bobs neat and tidy and out of Benjamin’s way. They are nice and deep so able to fit a lot in and are made of steel, so look and feel nice and sturdy.
I am still a bit of a novice when it comes to interior decor but I really love Beautify’s selection of home accessories and soft furnishings. They also offer bigger pieces such as dressing tables, chests of drawers and wardrobes, making it the perfect one stop shop for those looking to give their bedroom a bit of a restyle.
I was kindly gifted the selection of items featured in this post, however all words and images are my own.
