5 Things I Want to Achieve By 2019

I always put together resolutions at the start of the year. I feel like it grounds me, and reminds me of what I would like to achieve. I know that most people forget about their resolutions as the months go by, I know I did, but you don’t need to wait until the next new year to complete the goals you set for the year. With just under six months left to go, I wanted to remind myself, and ensure I hold myself accountable, of the things that I still hope to achieve in 2018.

Make a Steady Income From My Blog 

I set myself the goal at the end of last year to take my blog to the next level. I set up as self-hosted and registered as self employed, and I have been fortunate enough to have started actually earning some money from my blog. My passion has always been writing, and to be able to make money doing something I love is incredible. I have been so all over the place with everything lately, I haven’t prioritised my blog, and my sponsored content has dramatically reduced as a result of this. I’m a strong believe that what you put in correlates with what you get out, and I really want to up the game.

Build up Bournemouth Bloggers 

Moving on from my own blog, the Bournemouth Bloggers network is a local group of bloggers which I took over in November last year. I have worked really hard at brining in more business for the bloggers, and the network as a whole, and I am really proud to have been featured in Seven Days, a local magazine talking all about the network. I have some exciting plans for the network before the end of the year, and I can’t wait to see where the next few months take us.

Find My Body Confidence 

I have struggled for years with my self esteem, and having kids has made me extremely self conscious about my body, my tummy area in particular. I have reached the point before, where I have come to terms with things and been able to relax, but I am definitely not again there right this moment. I read the Goddess Revolution previously, and I really loved it, and the way it made me think about food, dieting, and nutrition. I would love to reach the state of mind by the end of this year, that I don’t feel self conscious when walking down the road wearing an outfit, that I am not always second guessing about what I ‘should’ be wearing.

Improve my Photography

Ok, so this one I have not really been working on lately, as things have just gotten in the way, and I haven’t had time to learn anything new. Having said this, I always work best if I don’t try to hard, and some of the shots I have taken lately really reflect this. My aim before the year is out, is to learn how to properly use my camera (I’m a point and shoot kind of girl’, and to get myself a tripod so that I don’t have to rely on anyone else to take my photos of me.

Start Writing my Book 

I am so far behind this, but I still really, really want to write a book.I have a rough idea in my head of what I want to write about, which I am not going to explain any further at the moment. I need to work hard on it, if I am to finish writing something by the end of the year. Wish me luck!
